THE QUIET MESMERIZING TIMES

This picture of a Cheetal (Spotted deer) with an Indian One-Horned Rhino in the background is a pin attraction as it shows the diversity and the manner in which the nature carries on the uniqueness of its various components. The deer licking its thigh and the rhino grazing behind, both are in the best of their moods and poses. The quiet moments of the forest where the herbivorous herds are sighted grazing is a great pass-time.
With the perfect colors and the perfect mood, this picture is worth the title.

ROYAL BENGAL TIGER

This is an exceptionally magnificent creature with the finest beauty among all the mammals. The Royal Bengal Tiger , which is actually my favorite one, is a creature of high respect and charm. Where the whole world dies to get just a glance of this creature , i feel myself extremely lucky that i got to shoot her. Each and every move it makes and all of its grace just melts the heart. Once it looks into your eyes, u heart misses a beat , due to part excitement, part fear but completely respect in you for this creature. All the projects and campaigns that have been made to protect this creature will be useless unless we take part in it individually. The name truly fits on this animal, the golden  shine makes it Royal  and the majestic pattern of stripes which is like the pattern of waves on the surface of golden water. I found this tigress lying down under the sun as it was winter evening. I was waiting for it to get up so that i may take a shot. As the sun moved from that place it got up and i got my shot.

EVENING AND A STARK

Here's another one for Painted Stark. The stark is having its evening snacks, a big toad. on observing it closely, you will find the toad being crushed between the two mandibles. Just below its eye, if you see carefully, you will find the toad which is just about to be swallowed. The quiet background and the quiet atmosphere with ringing sounds of crickets, which was the only sound i could hear while clicking this photograph, is one of the best feelings, according to me. The dim sunlight , the quietness and just me and the bird with its prey, the bird eating its prey and me sitting and clicking its picture, is altogether a different feeling!!!

HAVE YET NOT FACED THE HARDSHIPS

This picture of two White Tiger cubs playing is a picture of millions. This picture has been clicked at Nawab Wajid Ali Shah zoo in Lucknow,U.P. .Although this picture could have been better but what i have got means a lot for me and this photo has a special place in my album because it has may words behind it. The feeling of joy, innocence and carefree phase of life is well exhibited in this photograph. These little souls just ask for your attention and a helping hand, so that in future we get to see more such photographs. The two cubs looking directly into the lens adds to the beauty of this picture!!!

TIME FOR A BATH

This photograph clicked at Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, is of a herd of elephants bathing. in the scorching heat of the sun, with such a huge body , elephants need to water themselves heavily. The beautiful sight of nearly fifty elephants taking bath is a rare as well as a magnificent sight. As you can see in this picture , there is a little calf along with the herd. It is so small that it can be easily preyed upon by tigers or leopards. The herd is too possessive and caring for the calf as elephants are quite wise and they have a high sense of family feeling. In this picture, you can clearly see , four big elephants walking surrounding the baby. I couldn't reach too close to the herd this time but somehow i managed to get a clear shot of the herd!!!

ON ITS HEATER

As you can see in this picture , a small squirrel is resting on a branch of a Neem tree with its belly flattened. At that time , when i clicked this picture, we had log-fire burning under the tree and since the branch was just above the fire, it had become warm and this little friend came and lied down over it in order to get some warmth. It was a season somewhere between late monsoon and start of winters. These  little this around us do not get our attention as they are now a part of our regular life but somewhere due to human activities even these creatures are facing a lot of trouble. Kindly, take good care of them and even two slice s of your bread in the morning and little water in a small bowl would be enough for the first step towards their look-after!!!

CHIRPS AND HOPS

This little Scaly-Breasted Munia caught my interest, as it was hopping in the bushes in my garden. The bird really looks beautiful  and it felt really nice to sit and observe it playing. This is a male bird. The female was also there but i couldn't shoot it with my camera as these little birds do not provide such chances of shooting them. This is the only reason, i never keep my camera down even for a second , once i enter into any forest or am sitting in green are , in case i miss a fleeting shot. Presence of these little birds around us and to hear their chirping is really a feeling of immense pleasure and peace!!!
